Prescriptions can either be ordered on the phone (0191 252 5317) on our automated prescription line, using emis online, or drop off your repeat slip  (the counterfoil to your prescription) at the surgery .

Which ever method you choose, you must leave 24 hours for a prescription to be processed and ready for collection.

Patient Experience Survey Report 2011-12

Patient participation group is a representative group of the patients registered at Marine Avenue letting us see what you think is working well or maybe not so well within the surgery.  This is a good way to make us be aware of any issues or suggestions you have about what we do here at the surgery.

This would involve filling out some questionnaire and feed back forms, but as we are aware of people increasing work and life commitments no  meetings to attend.

The present set of questions in the  questionnaire were compiled by sending a survey to those patients who asked to be included (by either post/email/or collecting a form from reception) highlighting what issues they felt were the most important to be addressed. It would be helpful if this was fully representative of the demographics present in the population to this end we are particularly interested in your views if you identify yourself as belonging one of the following groups

• Young
• from an ethnic minority
• LGBT
• Male
• A part or full time carer

These groups are not exclusive and if you don’t fall into one of these we are still interested in your views.
