Medical Students
Throughout the year, we welcome medical students at various stages of their training from Newcastle and Sunderland Universities. Our Medical Student Supervisor is Dr Waggitt.

Nursing Students
We support second and third year nursing students from Newcastle and Sunderland Universities, providing hands-on learning in a clinical setting. Our Nursing Student Supervisor is Gill.

Pharmacy Students
Our practice also hosts pharmacy students year-round. They are primarily supervised by our Clinical Pharmacist, Mohamed, with support from the wider pharmacy team. In addition, we run structured placement blocks where groups of students attend with a tutor to learn about general practice, developing practical skills such as urine testing, blood pressure monitoring, and medicines management. Our Placement Lead is Becky.
